Changing your decor with cushions is the fastest way to enhance your decor and it is also budget friendly.You can use them anywhere you like, might be on a couch,chair or even on your bed.

Here are five tips for decorating with scatter cushions

1.Select a colour scheme that combines with the colours in your home like wall paint, wall art, vases or curtains so that the colours of your cushions don't clash with your decor. If you have cushions that match your couch, try changing their covers for a fresh look.Add interest to your room by using different colours but be sure that they are in good combinations.

2.Choosing the size and shape of your scatter cushions.Most people like 45x45 cm but you can always go bigger or smaller depending on your personal preference to add some character to your space.

3.Make sure the number of cushions you choose matches your style. Too little makes the room look incomplete, while too much makes it look cluttered. Even numbers are more traditional, while odd numbers are more modern, so play around with the number of cushions to find the right balance.

4. Pick your favorite designs, whether they're plain earthy tones or patterned patterns with pops of color.

5.Arranging cushions on the couch - For a traditional look place two matching cushions on either side of the couch. For a modern look use various sizes like 1 large (square), 1 medium (square) and 1 small (rectangular)  on one side of the couch and two more cushions on the other side. Single couches are simple, you can throw 1 or 2 cushions depending on the size you want.
